Thanks man! You’re Dead On! (Giving Tremendous VALUE is what we need everyone to do in the IM World…I hate suck-ass gimmicky products and lame scummy Marketers) …came across your site while surfing You Tube WordPress Tutorials…Awww…The Power of VIDEO! so Awesome…I’m excited expaning my skills-set and Selling w/ Vidz!
Thanks James, glad you liked it. I agree, we need to show people that VALUE is where the money’s at. Ethical marketing(done right) will make you 10x more money anyways.
With information traveling so fast on social networks nowadays it’ll get harder and harder for these people to get away with scummy marketing/products… even Visa, Mastercard & the FTC have taken actions against these scammers recently so it’s only a matter of time before they’re done.
Youtube is a massive marketing channel… 3rd most visited site in the world. They’re also owned by Google and as a result it’s super easy to get their videos to rank on the first page of Google.com for certain keywords.
I’ll probably post a follow-up video on the strategy I use to generate leads from youtube(and similar sites). It’s cool because I have videos from 2 years ago that still generate leads every day.
Thanks for the video!
I have Camtasia 6 but haven’t tried to use it yet. I want to produce “how to” videos later.
I’m using Hostgator. I read that I should get an Amazon S3 account and buy Easy Video Player software for publishing videos easier. The product will be for sale so I wouldn’t be using YouTube to host.
How are you doing your video on this page?
Thanks.
You’ll want to host your videos on Amazon S3 when you start getting over 100 views per day. I suggest saving your money until you hit that point. The video on this page is hosted on a shared server at NameCheap (similar to hostgator) because I’m not sending a bunch of traffic to it yet. I’m also using the FlowPlayer which you can use commercially for free.

Loved the video. I especially appreciate the sincerity of your message. You make it sound much easier than I thought it would be. Using PowerPoint slides is an awesome way to go (no video of myself!). I will incorporate a video as soon as I get my website up and running.
Hi, thanks a million for you video here, and also your videos on YouTube, really great stuff, I love it when I come across a ‘real’ person, just as you mentioned. One quick question though… you have a YouTube vid called ‘Lead Generation Examples’. Do you have the web address for this ‘list’ of companies/offers, I can’t seem to find it on google. Thanks a million in advance!!!
Hi Alex,
Thanks for this video. I have a couple of videos up on youtube and they have been up for months but hardly any views. I would love to get as many as 100!- At the end of my video ( its a powerpoint type promoting an online audio course) is an email contact address ‘cos I have no website up yet.So far I have had no such luck. How come if there are millions of people looking at youtube I get no one watching my videos?
cheers

Hi Alex, Thx for sharing this simple way to marketer for business! I plan to market a portal for lining up both HR clients to identify right consultants for outsourcing projects. Good to include a video for the consultants to get exposure. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family!
I,m new to this whole marketing thing, and watching your video just put me up to a whole new level of marketing. I will keep watching you for any updates and new ideas you have. You give me hope. _ Maybe someday I can quit this Stupid job that I have and make my own money.
Hi,
Thank you for your the time and effort you’ve put in sharing your ideas on how to make money. I was just wondering what happened to the 49 minute video? Is it still around for viewing. Keep up the good work.
I need help on how to turn my wordpress blog into a website…I was watching it on your youtube but I needed to put it in my computer so that i donot use to much of my internet meg. and youtube dose that to my internet… that is way I try to copy it to my computer, but your youtube will not copy…And it is the only one that dose that… I am using youtube downloader to copy it…But it just will not go….
You have “some” decent ideas hon, but your presentation is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! You sound like a VERY NERVOUS high school kid giving his very first oral report!!! You put me to sleep and the freak’n KID in the background!!! Good grief!!!…….
Hey Alex, you’re so dead right in what ever you have said. I prefer to hear and watch that reading all these endless news letters and emails the promoters send you. I have recently got down to online marketing, done a lot of research and found that that’s what would really work. About Jen, I don’t think what you sound or who would interrupt in the background for just 3 seconds would really make some one jump out of their skin. The message is quality. and clear. And by the way, “The beauty of working from home not the problem”. You kill two birds with one stone. Taking care of family and making money. Good stuff Alex. Am gonna subscribe and we keep in touch.
A nice very sincere clip. A little lengthy …. but the couple of gems you offered were well worth it. I liked your little plug for sincerity and integrity too. And heck, your young son’s interruption was kinda cute.
I’m one of those skilled copywriters …. but your evaluation of what people pay attention to is right on target. And the power of a simple video over elegant prose should have occurred to me much before now. But I admit I love writiing and WordPress has the most inviting “clean” screen ( optional ) which is like catnip to an eager feline.
I am immensely touched and encouraged by all the “free” information and help offered online. Some incredible programs like GIMP and MuseScore …. released by visionaries hoping to provide resources for people unable to afford the expensive PhotoShop and Finale. My contribution now being “born” is a site devoted to music teachers, sharing tips on truly engaging young students in their piano studies while offering free compositions for downloads. With your great tips on video add-ons …. I’ll be combining the two media soon.
I just wanted to say that you produced a very informative, persuasive, and helpful video. You mentioned authenticity, and I think the brief interlude where your son came in wanting your attention just added to your authenticity. Obviously, you aren’t some slick salesperson, you’re a real human being just trying to offer some of the helpful knowledge you’ve acquired to the rest of us. Kudos and Thanks!
